Miss Newcastle 2026 Official Launch Party Brings Semi-Finalists Together at The Mayfair

On Saturday 20th June, the excitement for Miss Newcastle 2026 officially began as our semi-finalists gathered at The Mayfair Pub & Kitchen in Newcastle for the highly anticipated Official Launch Party.
The evening marked the first major event of this year's competition and provided contestants with the opportunity to meet one another, network, and begin what promises to be an unforgettable journey towards the Miss Newcastle 2026 Grand Final.
Dressed elegantly for the evening's Black and White theme, the semi-finalists arrived looking incredible as they enjoyed a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The event was designed to help contestants build friendships, learn more about the competition, and meet members of the Miss Newcastle team ahead of the busy months to come.
Throughout the evening, contestants had the chance to learn more about the various heat rounds, charity initiatives, sponsor opportunities, and exciting events planned throughout the competition. Many of the girls met for the very first time, with conversations quickly turning into friendships as they shared their ambitions, passions, and excitement for the year ahead.
The Launch Party also highlighted Miss Newcastle's commitment to supporting local businesses, charities, and community projects. This year, competitors will be working closely with our Official Charity Partner, Tiny Lives, helping to raise vital funds and awareness for babies and families receiving specialist care across the North East.
Guests enjoyed a fantastic evening at The Mayfair Pub & Kitchen, whose stylish venue provided the perfect backdrop for the official start of the Miss Newcastle 2026 competition.
Competition Director and the Miss Newcastle team were delighted to see such a strong turnout, with the vast majority of semi-finalists attending and embracing the spirit of the event. The energy, enthusiasm, and support shown by everyone present demonstrated exactly what Miss Newcastle is all about – confidence, community, friendship, and celebrating the incredible young women of the North East.
With the Official Launch Party now complete, attention turns to the upcoming heat rounds, fundraising challenges, sponsor activities, and appearances that will ultimately lead to the Miss Newcastle 2026 Grand Final.
