As the official regional qualifier for Miss England, this prestigious competition offers ambitious women from Newcastle and the surrounding areas of the North East the chance to take their first step onto the national - and potentially international - stage, with the ultimate pathway to Miss World.

Celebrating confidence, community and modern womanhood, Miss Newcastle is about far more than beauty alone. It's a platform for strong, driven women to use their voice, champion causes close to their hearts, and proudly represent the North East on one of the biggest pageant stages in the world.

Meet the Director Bringing Back Miss Newcastle !
The relaunch is led by Regional Director Melissa Fiona Rae, whose journey began as a young Miss Newcastle
contestant before progressing to national and international stages. Having competed internationally at Miss Eco
representing the UK, and later reaching the Miss England Final in 2024, Melissa brings lived experience, credibility, and a
strong vision for the future of the competition.
